Red dots and close range optics can be positioned further forward, for more comfortable eye relief. Installs via included set screws into the Ruger 10/22 factory mounting holes. Extended version is 5.5 inches in total length with 13 rail slots versus 4.5 inches with 11 slots for the standard version. Comes with integrated level bubble built into the rear of the rail to check for consistent vertical alignment of your rifle.
