Marriage in the Light of Jesus: For Singles & Married

Marriage is God’s idea, not man’s. Therefore, if it must be practiced, it must be practiced as God designed it to be. The reason for the several failures in marriages today is that people have decided to become creative about this divine institution. They have decided to do it their own way. They have come up with ideas and methods on how to do marriage, consciously or unconsciously. For some, they have a different agenda for their marriages which is contrary to the agenda of the Institutor of marriage.A product can only be effective when used as prescribed by the producer. This is why when the Lord Jesus was asked about the dysfunction in marriages, His reply was: “…but from the beginning it was not so.” (Matt.19:8).
