Ideal for cutting tough and hardened materials including stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, bronze, and alloy steels. Retains cutting edges up to 1000 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, allowing for higher cutting speeds and improved productivity. Cobalt enhances the overall hardness of the high speed steel (Rockwell Hardness up to 65-66HRC) which results in a longer tool life. Ground square tool bits provide consistent geometry, improved surface finish, and reliable cutting performance.
