The R24-9175-X 10-3/4" Chrome Plated Die Cast Magnetic/Mechanical Edgemount Latch is a heavy-duty edgemount latch designed to provide a secure and reliable door closure.  Its unique dual-function design combines both mechanical latching and magnetic force to create a positive seal while preventing door bounce-back.  The latch is constructed from durable die-cast zinc and features a polished chrome-plated finish for added corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance.  This model includes an offset handle without a cylinder lock and measures 10-3/4 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 2-7/8 inches high overall. The latch is reversible for both right- and left-hand applications, making it versatile for different installations. Its solid one-piece strike bracket and floating magnetic design ensure consistent magnetic attraction at every adjustment position.  Mounting holes are drilled and countersunk for #10 flat head screws, and the hole locations are interchangeable with many competing latch brands for easier replacement and installation.
